Oshaberi Dungeon is a text adventure game played through AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Data We Collect

When you use Oshaberi Dungeon, we collect and store the following data:

• Account information: Email address (used for authentication, email verification, and confirmation of protected operations)
• Game save data: Your in-game position, inventory, and discovery progress
• Adventure memories: Text records of your adventures, saved automatically on game clear or by your request
• Feedback: Bug reports, impressions, and requests you submit through the feedback tool
• Anonymous usage statistics: Non-identifying usage data for service improvement (not linked to personal information after account deletion)

We do not collect:

• Real names or other personal identifying information beyond email
• Health data
• Location data
• Payment or financial information
• Data from other services or connectors
• Conversation data outside of game actions

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Authenticate your game sessions
• Save and restore your game progress
• Store adventure memories (saved automatically on game clear or by your request)
• Improve the service using anonymous usage statistics

We do not use your data for:

• Advertising or marketing
• AI model training
• Individual profiling or targeted advertising
• Any purpose other than those described in "How We Use Your Data" above (including, but not limited to, the prohibited examples in this list)

Where We Store Your Data

All data is stored on a server located in Japan.

Data Retention

Game data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the game. Upon deletion, all personal information (email address, authentication tokens) is permanently removed. Game data (save files, adventure memories, and feedback) is anonymized and retained for service improvement purposes.

Game reset clears your save data (position, inventory, discoveries) but retains your account, email address, and adventure memories.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties.

Data Security

• All communications are encrypted via HTTPS
• Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE
• Email verification required for login
• Protected operations require additional email confirmation

Your Rights

You may:

• Delete your account from within the game (say "delete my account" to your AI companion)
• Request access to your stored data
• Request correction of any inaccurate data
